Permits

All work performed within the right-of-way on all Luce County Roads must have a permit. If a permit is not obtained from the Luce County Road Commission all work performed will be removed by the Road Commission at the owner’s or contractor’s expense.

Payments

Starting May 1, 2024, the Luce County Road Commission will be changing the way we accept and process our permits.

We will be switching to an online-based permit system through a web page called Oxcart.

The registration is easy to complete on the Oxcart web site.  Once you are registered you will have the follow benefits using Oxcart:

  • Eliminate tedious paper processes, emailing, faxing, and scanning.
  • Speed the process of permit approval.

  • Provide an easy, online payment system(Credit card only)


In addition to the Luce County Road Commission permitting fee, Oxcart will require a nominal processing fee for transportation permit. Oxcart will also assess a credit card fee for permit processed.

  • Daily or As Approved Seasonal Transport Permit (Frost Law)
